You hire employees to represent your company. Hire well and treat them well.You don’t need a specific policy on Social Media. You need to address what employees can and can’t say about your company to the public. Social media is just a vehicle for communication. This falls under two categories: confidential information and reputation. Confidential information easy. NO. Reputation make it clear that employees are expected to rrepesent the best interests of the company at all times. Ultimately, you can’t really stop people from talking. So hire well and treat people well.

I think the six tips you’ve listed are great but they also allude to the need of leadership training for executive teams. With leadership training- it will help management understand how to increase employee engagement while creating a company culture and improving.
